Throo is the AI agent inside FollowThroo. Tell it who you want to reach and it writes the email, LinkedIn and WhatsApp templates, builds the campaign as a draft, adds people to your CRM (one at a time or a whole list), finds the leads to follow up and explains how your outreach is doing. It builds drafts on its own; adding leads to a campaign or sending a WhatsApp template to Meta always waits for your Confirm. On the Scale plan.

What Throo does

Throo works through the same tools you use by hand, so it can only do what you could do yourself, on the leads and campaigns you can see.

  • Writes email and LinkedIn templates, personalised with fields like {{firstName|there}} and {{company}}.
  • Builds a campaign as a draft: steps across email, LinkedIn and WhatsApp, with the waits between them.
  • Finds leads: by stage, source, tag or a search, such as your newest leads from Meta Lead Ads.
  • Adds leads: someone you name with an email or LinkedIn URL, or every row of a CSV or list you paste, up to 500 at a time. Anyone already in your CRM is updated, not duplicated.
  • Reads your reports and explains how campaigns and channels are doing over the last 7, 30 or 90 days.
  • Drafts WhatsApp templates for Meta's approval and maps each {{1}}, {{2}} to a lead field.

Drafts freely, confirms before going live

Throo never sends, launches or submits by itself. Anything that reaches real people or Meta appears in the chat as a card saying exactly what will happen, with Confirm and Cancel. Nothing happens until you press Confirm, and FollowThroo checks again at that moment that you are still allowed to do it.

  • Adding leads to a campaign, which starts sending to them, waits for your Confirm.
  • Sending a new WhatsApp template to Meta for approval waits for your Confirm.
  • Templates, draft campaigns and field mappings are built straight away, and you can open and edit them.

Where you find it

Throo opens on Home with "How can I help you?", and from the Throo button on every screen (or Ctrl+J), where it knows what you're looking at: inside a campaign it offers to build the steps, write the messages or audit the sequence. Past chats are kept under History.

What it costs

A Throo reply costs 2 credits, plus 3 for each thing it builds, changes or adds (a template, a campaign, a batch of leads), and never more than 15. A reply that fails costs nothing. Messages a campaign sends later cost their usual credits. Throo is included in the Scale plan.

Use Throo from Claude or ChatGPT

Throo's tools are also an MCP connector. Add https://app.followthroo.com/api/mcp as a custom connector in Claude or ChatGPT, sign in, and your assistant can read your workspace and build drafts. Going live still waits for your Confirm in FollowThroo.

The automatic reply agent

Separately from Throo, FollowThroo's reply agent can answer inbound replies within your rules, through the same suppression, permission and rate-limit paths as every other send.

Can Throo send messages or launch a campaign on its own?

No. Throo builds drafts on its own, but adding leads to a campaign or sending a WhatsApp template to Meta always shows a card you have to confirm. Nothing goes out until you do.

Can I use Throo from Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes. Add https://app.followthroo.com/api/mcp as a custom connector. Your assistant can read your workspace and build drafts; starting a campaign still needs your Confirm in FollowThroo.
